Interview : Kathleen Amarant and Angie Bedford - OPTC - Playing To Win

OPTC is a community based performing arts group and was created to bridge the gap between secondary school productions and non-professional theatre.

Established in 2008, the company has been striving to produce one major production a year with other ventures through out. OPTC operates out of the Rivergum Theatre in Bundoora and is open to all those interested in performing arts. As well as anyone keen on the technical and producing aspects of the theatre world.

So what does 2011 have in stall for OPTC? Introducing OPTC's original variety concert, featuring musical theatre and classic rock hits from artists such as Queen, Meatloaf, John Farnham and many more.

With the theme 'superheroes', OPTC takes you on a adventure of heroic proportions through song. The concert takes you into a world where both Heroes and Villains are "Playing to Win".

We werre lucky to catch up with two of the shows stars - Kathleen Amarant and Angie Bedford - who give the first glimpse of OPTCs concert "Playing to Win". With only a month till the one night performance the cast are developing their superpowers for a performance of heroic proportions.
