ARC Theatre proudly presents its 2012 musical production 'Jekyll and Hyde’ which will be performed at Banyule Theatre, Heidelberg from the 6th - 14th of July.
Jekyll and Hyde's classic concept of a well-intentioned scientist who creates a potion that unintentionally brings out his evil and homicidal alter-ego has been the inspiration for countless stories, movies and TV shows since the tale was originally written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1886.
In 1990 Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical, written by Frank Wildhorn, Steve Cuden and Leslie Bricusse, hit the stage, its popularity making it one of the longest running shows on Broadway from 1997-2001.
With its dark setting, clever dialogue, epic score and a focus on the duality of human nature, Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical brings to life one of the greatest and most well known tales of good versus evil.
