Criterion Games, an Electronic Arts Inc studio have announced that
Burnout Crash will be launching on the iPad, iPad 2 and iPhone 4 later
this year. Gamers will swipe the screen to steer vehicles and tap to trigger all-out explosions. Players
can crash their way through a volatile mix of exciting content
including three addictive game modes, 18 traffic junctions, and six
unique locations, all while grooving to an 80’s inspired soundtrack
featuring pop icons like Vanilla Ice and Gloria Estefan.
“We’re very excited to bring Burnout CRASH! to iOS,” said Richard Franke, Creative Director of Burnout CRASH! "The
game’s super simple controls make it perfect for a mobile platform and
it will give Burnout fans a chance to take the fun of Crash mode with
them wherever they are.”
Featuring the revolutionary Autolog
technology, players can connect, compare, and compete with friends for
competitive gameplay and challenging fun.
In addition, the
all-new Autolog Challenges feature lets players up the ante by sending
direct head-to-head challenges to their friends online.
Burnout
CRASH! is also available now on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation
Network and will be released for the iPad and iPhone later this year.
