FIFA 12 Soundtrack Unveiled

Electronic Arts Inc. have unveiled the complete track listing for EA Sports FIFA 12. 

The eclectic selection of music on FIFA 12 includes artists from right around the globe representing the widespread passion for the FIFA franchise.

The FIFA 12 soundtrack includes music from The Ting Tings, CSS, and Kasabian and hot tracks by Chase & Status, TV On The Radio, Foster The People, The Strokes and Thievery Corporation.

In addition, this year’s soundtrack includes such international breakthrough artists as Holland’s The Medics, Brazil’s Bloco Bleque, England’s The Vaccines, Monarchy and Graffiti6, New Zealand’s Naked & Famous, Sweden’s Little Dragon, and American indie rock bands GIVER, Grouplove and Portugal The Man.

Australian music is also included: All Mankind (Break The Spell), Architecture in Helsinki (Escapee) and Cut Copy (Where I'm Going), all doing the Aussie Music Scene wonders.

“Our belief is that FIFA soundtracks must always be more than just a collection of songs,” said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing at EA.

“We want to create a true international showcase that embodies dozens of nations and virtually every genre of music. We want to bring the world closer together by uniting the global cultures of football and music.”

The highly anticipated FIFA 12 was chosen “Best Console Game” last month at Gamescom, and winner of the prestigious E3 Game Critics award for “Best Sports Game” at E3 2011.

FIFA 12 will be available for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system, PC, Wii™, PlayStation®2, Nintendo 3DS™, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, iPhone®, iPad™, and iPod® touch. The game will also be available for digital download on PC at origin.com.

FIFA 12 is in stores Australia wide on September 29, 2011.
