Do you remember those old Goosebumps Choose Your Own Adventure books when you were a kid?

Comedian John Robertson has revamped that idea utilising the online medium of YouTube.

Instead of creepy stories, Robertson has replaced scenarios with witty, clever and sometimes strange situations.

Basically you are in a Dark Room that you must escape. The scenarios play out in ways that aren't expected and leave you quietly giggling at your desk.

Fans of Robertson may remember his season 1 Australian Idol audition of "The Bird is the Word" which made waves online.

Quite a well known Comedian, Robertson tours throughout Australia and the UK to packed audiences. One critic said of his live shows, 

"Brilliant - you could do worse then see Johns show, but you will rarely do better".

The Scotsman said of the Perth-born comedian:

"John Robertson is a manic and quick-witted revelation". 

The Dark Room blends together his sarcastic humour with clever jokes and will surely make you crack a smile or two.  We struggled to actually get out of the room, but had a laugh along the way.
