NEED FOR SPEED: RIVALS

IN AUSTRALIAN STORES : 19 NOVEMBER 2013

 


EA have announced 'Need for Speed: Rivals' set for release later this year on all platforms including next generation XBox and Playstation.

'Rivals' is being developed by a new EA studio, Ghost Games in conjuction with seasoned racing veterans Criterion Games to give the franchise a fresh outlook going forward.

Utilising the Frostbite 3 game engine, 'Rivals', like former games in the series, will focus on the street battle beween the cops and street-racers. This time on a much bigger and much better open world scale.

Need For Speed: Rivals will be available on the XBox 360, PS3 and PC on November 19 this year. The wait is a little longer for next generation systems with the game destined to be released on XBox One and PS4 later in the year / early next year.
