You know, there's nothing better than a good, old fashioned supermodel who can run the catwalks, has a golf handicap of 18 and of course drives Formula One cars. What!? You've nver heard of such thing? 

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Jodie Kidd.

Born in England on September 25th, 1978, of some of the most impressive ancestory you'll ever see (related to the future 11th Duke of Argyll - thankyou very much), Jodie was always destined for a life of glitz, glamour and beauty. This blonde haired, blue eyed babe stands at a gorgeous 6'1", with legs to kill for, and a smile just as deadly.

By the age of 16, Jodie was already centred in a heated scandal due to her twig-like appearance. Her skeletal figure led to accusations that she was encouraging teenage girls to become anorexic in an effort to mimic her looks.

Kidd has admitted to "beinga bag of bones” in her early modeling career but has strongly denied that she was anorexic, blaming her skinny physique on a bout of glandular fever. I had the same problem, except replace "being" with "ate" and "bones" with "Fried Chicken". During an eight month break in modeling Kidd added weight to her lanky frame, transforming in to a healthy size eight.

Beside that tiny setback, Kidd has done it all. She's modeled with the biggest and best in the industry from lly Capellino to Chanel,Ernesto Esposito to Fendissime, Gai Mattiolo to Ghost, Lagerfeld to Malhas, Monsoon to Motorola and also featured in campaigns for Chloé 'Innocence' perfume and Yves Saint Laurent. Add to that being the cover girl for Elle magazine in Australia, Italy, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden and the United States. No mean feat, that one.

Jodie Kidd is also a unique example of the multi-skilling modern day woman, fusing the worlds of designer fashion and glamorous sports together like several coloured skittles in your mouth on a cold but sunny day. 

On the Catwalk she is a leading supermodel, and off the it, she plays Polo at a high level, Golfs at  a handicap of 18 – (seen recently playing the links with Samuel L. Jackson, Hugh Grant and several other of the world's leading golfers) and she just missed out on winning the Dun Hill Links Championship with her partner Colin Montgomerie. They made 19 under par (and all the papers) after an 80 yard chip on the 13th! 

However, it doesn't stop there, Jodie is also a high octane Maserati touring car driver. She has a love of speed (the verb, not the noun) and beautiful cars and there is no better way to enjoy that than behind the wheel of an Italian supercar on a racetrack where speed limits only apply to the unsure.

Sexy, beautiful and better at driving cars than James Dean, Jodie Kidd is the English woman du jour.
