Nina Moric
By Sara Templeton
Largely thanks a music video shot in 1999, by some small-time
Latino stallion called Ricky Martin - you may have heard of
him - Nina's face was being beamed right across the world,
from Video Hits, to MTV.
Anyway, the song to the film clip was called Livin’
la Vida Loca and Nina was the brunette seen draped all
over the Puertorican pop singer. Suffice to say, it was a
handy music video to star in...
Before this, Nina's drive to be a famous model enticed her
to enlist in the 1996 "Look of the Year" world competition,
an annual competition for budding young models that are held
in almost all countries across the globe. She came second,
which just goes to prove that winning isn't everything, eh?
Famous all over the world, Nina is most celebrated in Italy
- the land of crazy 'tits out' shows and other strange variety
programmes.
Apparently she has more than 10 million fans in Italy, where
she has hosted the Saturday night RAI 1 TV show Torno Sabato.
Rumour has it that she is also quite a singer too, and an
album is not beyond the realms of reality for the stunning
Croatian model.
Rumoured to be produced by Joe T. Vannelli, the man who heads
up a techno/dance outfit, he has worked with the likes of
Erasure, New Order, Rozalla, Thelma Houston, and Bobby Brown
to name but a few Also quite the deejay himself, Vannelli has performed in
British clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Hard Times, Cream,
and Renaissance, which means that the Nina Moric album probably
won't be too bad for younger fans. It could even be a chart
buster - who knows?
Apart from being splashed liberally across cyber-space (we're
hypocrites, aren't we?), Nina Moric has worked for the likes
of Versace, Erreuno and Les Copains and many other TV fragrance
and attire advertisements.
Expect to hear a lot more of Nina Moric in future, as she's
got a sassy style that the boys find very infectious...
