Commencing with the least expensive at under $10, our list progresses through to the best-of-the-best that we have enjoyed and savoured over 2012 and would gladly provide on our table this Christmas.

  • $10-$15: Hardys Notage Hill Pinot Noir Chardonnay $10.99.

For the wine enthusiast or someone who just wants to become a little bit more knowledgable on the subject here's a great gift suggestion to put under the tree: the 16th Edition of the Australian Wine Annual (2013) by Jeremy Oliver (2013).

At just $29.95 this is a great guide and provides over 1,400 tasting notes on current relaeases, 14,000 ratings on previous vintages and details on in excess of 300 Australian wineries and vintages. In this the 24th book written by Oliver on all things wine also gives he's thoughts on what will be "in demand" in the wine market in 2013. It can be purchased a good book sotes, cellar doors and select fine wine outlets.
