Out To Lunch:
Ideal conditions resulted in an outstanding vintage in 2011. This allowed
winemaker, Peter Dillon to move this vintage of Chardonnay out into the market, unlike
the 2010 vintage which was limited a the small number of cases produced and
therefore confining sales from the cellar door.
Brookland Valley is located in Wilyabrup a sub-region of the Margaret River.
Located within two kilometres of the Indian Ocean the Valley experiences a
distinctively micro-climate. Dillon's 2011 Estate Chardonnay has a beautifully
full palate with distinctive citrus notes in the foreground.
At $37.50 a bottle it can be reserved for those special occasions to savour
with Springtime seafood pleasures such as scallops with sautéed
mushrooms and shallots browned in butter.
