Baked Rice Pudding

Your Baked Rice Pudding looks impressive but is so simple to make. Serve hot from the oven topped with sliced strawberry for colour contrast. Makes for a great and tasty dessert.

Ingredients:

60g Rice
1 Egg (Beaten)
30g Sugar
570ml Milk
1 Tablespoon Sultanas
Butter
Nutmeg (Ground)

Method:

  1. Boil the rice for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the egg, mulk sugar and sultanas to the rice and stir in.
  3. Pour the mixture into a deep oven proof pie dish.
  4. Sprinkle some nutmeg over the top and dot with butter.
  5. Cook in a slow oven for two hours (Slow Oven: 150°C)
