Berries With Burnt Cream

This Berries With Burnt Cream (or Creme Brulee) dessert should be served the moment it is ready straight out of the oven. It is delicious accompanied by dessert biscuits and mint leaves. Serves four.


375g Mixed Berries (Fresh)
2 Tablespoons Sugar
3 Tablespoons Orange-Flavoured Liqueur
250ml Cream (Double)
4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar


  1. Preheat grill to a high heat.
  2. Combine berries, sugar and liqueur in a bowl.
  3. Divide berry mixture between four individual dishes.
  4. Top fruit with cream and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  5. Grill for 3-4 minutes or until top is golden.
