Berries with Burnt Cream
Serves 4
Ingredients
375 g fresh mixed berries
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons orange-flavoured liqueur
1 cup/250 mL cream (double)
4 tablespoons brown sugar
Method
1 Preheat grill to a high heat.
2 Combine berries, sugar and liqueur in a bowl. Divide
berry mixture between four individual dishes.
3 Top fruit with cream. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Grill for 3-4 minutes or top is golden.
Tip: This dessert should be served the moment it is
ready and is delicious accompanied by dessert biscuits and
mint leaves.
