½ Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons Water (Cold)
1 Tablespoon Sugar
3 Eggs (Beaten)
- Stir the ½ cup sugar into a pot and add water and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar is a caramel consistency.
- Pour mixture into a mould ensuring sides of mould are covered and hollow is sufficient to add later ingredients.
- Mix beaten eggs, remaining sugar and milk well and pour into the mould.
- Rest mould over a pot of steaming water and let steam for one hour.
Something a bit different to your standard custard recipe. Let cool and enjoy with a small glass of sweet dessert wine. Smooth, sweet and refreshing.
