Greek Meatballs

Thank you Toula from NSW for this quick meal:

Ingredients

500g Minced Meat
1 Onion (Finely Chopped)
3 Sliced Bread (1-2 Days Old)
Mint or Parsley (Finely Chopped)
2 Cloves Garlic (Finely Chopped)
2 Eggs
Salt & Pepper and Nutmeg (Any spice you care to add)
Flour

Method

  1. Place meat in bowl.
  2. Add all other ingredients.
  3. Crumble (slightly moistened) bread and place in bowl.
  4. Add eggs.
  5. Mix ingredients well with hands.
  6. Scoop a tablespoon of meat mixture and roll in flour.
  7. Fry ball in oil until golden brown.

Serve on a dish of mashed potatoes with a sprig of mint.
