Sago Plum Pudding

Thank you Glenda from Victoria for this family recipe:

Ingredients:
1/4 Pound Butter (114 grams)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
6 Tablespoons Sago (Soaked Overnight in Water & Drain)
3 Teaspoons of Mixed Spice
1.5 Cups of Raisins
1.5 Cups of Sultanas
1 Teaspoon Bicarb of Soda
1 Cup of Milk
2 Cups of Fresh Bread Crumbs
Self Raising Flour to Blend

Method

1. Cream butter and sugar.

2. Dissolve bicarb of soda in milk.

3. Stir in other ingredients and mix well.

4. Place ingredients into greased steamer.

5. Place steamer in saucepan of boiling water.

6. Cook for 3 hours.
