Tuna & Celery Casserole

If you are counting your calories then this Tuna & Celery Casserole dish is a great way to help meet your objective. Easy to prepare with healthy ingredients. Be ready to eat in 30 minutes. Serves four to six.

Ingredients:

470g Can Tuna (In Oil)
1 Onion (Sliced)
1½ Cups Celery (Chopped)
1 Cup Mushrooms (Sliced)
4 Medium Tomatoes (Diced)
2 Teaspoons Sugar
Salt & Pepper

Method:

  1. Drain the tuna oil from the can into a saucepan.
  2. Saut%eacute; the onion, celery and mushrooms in the tuna oil for five minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes and cook for a further five minutes.
  4. Stir in the sugar and tuna and season to taste with the salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish, cover and cook in a 200ºC oven for about 15 minutes.
