Veal Parmagiana

Thank you Max from WA for this quick meal:

Ingredients

1 Kg Veal
250g Mozzarella Cheese
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan Cheese
Salt & Pepper
1 Can Tomatoes
2 Tablespoons Flour
½ Cup Breadcrumbs
Oregano

Method

  1. Cut veal into serving slices.
  2. Cut Mozzarella cheese into slices.
  3. Beat egg until liquid.
  4. Drain can of tomatoes.
  5. Roll each veal slice in flour and then dip in beaten egg.
  6. Coat each veal slice in breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Fry veal slices in a little oil until golden brown.
  8. Place each veal slice in an oven proof dish.
  9. On each slice of veal place some slices of Mozzarella and crushed tomato.
  10. Sprinkle oregano and pepper and salt to taste over all.
  11. Bake in moderate oven for one hour.

A dish that can be traced back over 400 years. Food & Italy, a perfect blend.
