festivities up this
April at the Oakbank racecourse for the Oakbank Easter Carnival.
Located in the
Adelaide Hills, Oakbank
Racecourse is home to jumps racing in South Australia, which combines
with flat racing to make two days of thrilling racing over Easter each
year.
The Oakbank Racing
Club has held the
iconic Easter Racing Carnival since 1876 - an event which attracts more
than 100,000 visitors annually and qualifies as the world’s biggest
picnic race meeting.
Corporate guests and
groups of
families and friends can enjoy numerous trackside hospitality areas,
rides and amusements, an animal petting zoo, roving entertainers and of
course thrilling thoroughbred racing in an idyllic country setting.

number of guests requiring a private race day marquee, Oakbank can

Sheffield will once
again host the
annual Town of Murals during the month of April.
The basic gist of the exhibition places Nine Mural artists from around
the world in a competition to create the best Mural in just six and a
half days.
Each artist must complete a 2100mm-high x 4800mm-wide mural, using the
same poem as their mural’s central theme and inspiration.
Mural Artists from around the world will once again be vying for the
Judges Choice Award, the People’s Choice Award the Visitors Award.
Each year a new poem is selected, meaning no two Mural Fests are ever
the same. The competition is conducted in Mural Park Sheffield’s very
own outdoor art gallery.
Visitors are encouraged to visit Mural Fest throughout the week to
cheer on their favourite artist, and cast a vote for the People's
Choice Award.

The Big Croc Hatch
is a unique event
whereby baby crocodiles hatch from their eggs. Watch as the
'egg tooth' breaks the shell and the small croc emerges.
Hatching Season is
now into full
swing. The birth of a dinosaur is something that every child should
witness.
Educational as well
as
fascinating. The Koorana Crocodile Farm delivers a first
class interpretation on the life cycle and history of
crocodiles. You may find you will go away having a 'soft
spot' for these reptiles.

Easter long weekend
brings with it the
Fremantle Street Arts Festival.
Claimed as
Australia's biggest and
best street arts festival, the streets of Fremantle will convert to a
entertainment complex, with 10 stages and heaps of activities.
Showcasing an entire
world of busking,
street theatre, comedy, circus, cabaret and lots more you can get
involved in the action and witness first class acts or catch an evening
cabaret show at Little Creatures.
