The History of Numerology
One of the earliest recorded instances of numerology being
used in a scientific way comes from around 10,000 years ago,
from the ancient Babylonians and Egyptians. It is, however,
mainly due to the Greeks and Hebrews that modern numerology
owes it's roots. The traditional meanings of the numbers come
from interpretations going back to very early times, and some
numerologists maintain that the science can be traced back
as far as the dawning of mankind, when man first tried to
understand the meaning of numbers and give them a spiritual
or mystic significance.
Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician, astrologer and philosopher
born in the Sixth Century BC, is one of the main sources of
the current systems and is recorded as saying that numbers
are the first things of all nature. He held the belief that
everything could be reduced to mathematical terms, and if
expressed as a numerical value, the universe would be better
understood He rounded a school on this principle.
An Introduction
The question so often asked, "Who am I" - what is my purpose
in life, and what am I here to achieve? Is so often asked
and answers are not always forthcoming. This leaves us confused
sending us in search of these answers. Numerology can answer
all your questions and provide you with information that can
make everyday life easier.
The ancient science involves giving each number and letter
a numerical value, and then relating that number to the ancient
meanings connected with that particular number, or combination
of numbers. A chart is then constructed this information.
This is extremely comprehensive and involved and covers almost,
if not every aspect of your life.
The birth date combined with our birth name reveals the individual
"pathway" that we all search for. This pathway is absolutely
unique. It is known as the "birth-blueprint".
This Chart will lift the veil from your subconscious and reveal
the inner truth about you- In order to accept this, a conscious
decision has to be made to know and understand yourself with
complete honesty. The chart will help you recognise your strengths
and weaknesses so that you can actively set about achieving
your destiny rather than accepting fate.
The fundaments of numerology are based upon the Buddhist theories
of reincarnation and Karma. Karma (reminders) is the law of
"cause and effect" for every action there is a reaction. These
reminders date back into "past lives" and are being worked
upon in the present lifetime. This chart will point out any
Karma's that are present, thus helping you to recognise these
patterns as to why and where things are going wrong. Once
you are aware of this and take the necessary steps these conditions
will cease.
Fate is what we resign ourselves to; destiny is what we achieve
using the gifts God gave us. Through using these gifts we
can overcome our Karma and accomplish the challenge of achieving
our destiny.
