Dating Do's and Don'ts

Do

• Be yourself.

• Trust your instincts.

• If dating via the Internet, acknowledge all e-mail.

• A short thanks is polite - even if you aren't interested in the person.

• Be considerate - if the other person is a non-smoker, don't smoke or ask them if it worries them first.

• Respect the other person's privacy.

• If meeting for the first time, pick a public place and preferably during the day.

• Be honest - if you are looking for marriage let the person know!

• Dress comfortably - stilettos, mini skirt and see-through crop top aren't necessary for a movie. (Especially if you're male!)

• Relax and have a good time.

Don't

• Lie about yourself.

• Whinge about your ex.

• Say you'll call unless you mean it.

• Reveal every little thing about yourself.

• Drink too much.

• Do anything you aren't comfortable in doing - speak up.

• Stand the person up - a mobile text message or brief call is all that is needed.

• Order spaghetti - messy!!

• Turn up late.
