It's not often we take requests, after all, this isn't some kind of terrible FM station where you tell us about "your most embarrassing fart moment"... but if you would like to, please be sure to email us.

However, we couldn't ignore a spate of emails lately requesting we take a look at a particular sexy Dutch lass by the name of Lara Stone. I'll plead ignorance when it comes to knowing much about her, other than assuming she's the long forgotten nephew of a Flintstones character. So, what do we know?

Well, we know her full name is Lara Catherina Stone, she's Dutch and she was born in December of 1983 (which makes her a dinosaur in model years).

We also know that as recently as 2012, this "dinosaur" still managed to be voted in at #8 on the Forbes top earning models list, so perhaps there's more to this blonde ragamuffin than meets the eye. So let's investigate further...

Born in the tiny town of Geldrop in the Netherlands, Stone was first discovered at the tender age of twelve at the Paris Metro, after which she entered the Elite Model Look competition at age fifteen. The strange twist to this fairly common "young model" tale is that Lara didn't actually win the competition. However, she did enough to impress the Elite executives and was soon signed up as an Elite Modeling Agency model.

Nice work little one!

From here, things went into hyper drive. By 2006, Stone had already opted to leave Elite in favour of signing with IMG Models. The move, while brutal, proved worthwhile as she made her debut on the catwalk almost immediately after Riccardo Tisci placed Lara in his Givenchy couture shows in Paris. What a thoughtful guy!

By the end of 2006, she already had an exclusive deal with Calvin Klein, leading to a monster few years which included an enormous spread in Vogue Paris (including being their April issue cover gal).

She had arrived, represented by the fact New York Magazine ranked her as the second best model to "Watch" at New York Fashion Week.

Since then Lara Stone (for some reason I keep on wanting to say Lara Croft... oh well) has opened shows for the likes of Giles Deacon, Isabel Marant, Christopher Kane, Fendi, and MaxMarx as well as closing enormous catwalks for big wigs such as Chanel, Diesel, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, and Balmain. Interesting to see KMart isn't on that list... some people have no taste I guess.

But "Web Wombat Fashion experts, what other labels has she put on her near perfect body?" I hear you think / say in your brain. Alright, here's the role call of the numerous outlets Lara Stone has either modelled for, been in their magazines, or even just popped her face into their stores: Prada, Givenchy, Belstaff, Just Cavalli, H&M, CK, Hugo Boss Orange, Calvin Klein Cosmetics, and Jil Sanders to name just a few.

Honestly, we'll be here all day if I tell you everything - and let's face facts, you're here for the pics with the slight hint of nipple. Don't feel ashamed, it's perfectly natural.

So, yes, Lara Stone is amazing - to the point that her unique look sparked an enormous fashion trend in which blonde, gap toothed, big lipped models. This sort of cut through meant that she's in the World's Top Earning Models list with estimated earnings of $4.5M.

Sadly, with success comes some downtimes, including a stint in 2009 in which she admitted to going to rehab for alcoholism. Who would have guessed? A model with millions of dollars and a drinking problem! The world is just full of shocks sometimes. Next you'll tell me the cast of Glee are gay or something... wait... WHAT?!!
