Lexus Australia has announced the GS 300 'X' special edition of the award-winning GS sedan.

The GS 300 Sport and Sports Luxury models will be available from August 2012.

The Lexus GS 450h won the title of "Australia's best luxury car' three years in a row, demonstrating the prestige of the GS range and the anticipated excitement for the GS 300 'X' model.

The 'X' package offers $10,000 in combined extra value and savings, along with added features including a moon roof, clearance and reversing sonar & smart key card (which are specific to the Sports model).

There's also the five-spoke 18 inch allow wheels (as featured on GS 460), rear lip spoiler from GS 450h/460 and unique X badging to the already well-equipped GS range.

The GS 300 'X' is available in a range of 10 exterior colours.

The latest addition to the colour colour palette is 'Starlight Black'. Starlight Black contains special glass flakes that reflect and refract light, while allowing it to pass through to the base coat.

The GS 300 'X' Sports is available from $89,900** drive away. The Sports Luxury edition is priced from $94,900** drive away.

** Recommended drive away price includes 12 months registration, 12 months compulsory third party insurance, a maximum dealer delivery charge and stamp duty.
