- Lotus has announced official pricing for its American version of the
Evora sports car. Set to go on sale in America during first quarter of
2010, the Evora will be priced at $73,500 US. Reports are still yet to
confirm whether or not the Lotus Evora will hit Australian shores.
The
mid-mounted 3.5-litre V6 engine produces 206kW of power at 6400 rpm and
350Nm of torque at 4700 rpm, accelerating from 0-100km in just 4.9
seconds before hitting a top speed of 260km/h.
The interior
features hand-trimmed and twin-stitched leather from renowned experts
Muirhead, the steering wheel is also wrapped in leather and is fully
adjustable. The centre console and instruments, such as the foot pedals
are made from aluminum.
The Lotus Evora also features
body-hugging adjustable Recaro seats, an Alphine sound system with
available touch-screen navigation, iPod connectivity and bluetooth
hands free.
Lotus have designed the Evora for those who want a
pure sports car that is comfortable to drive every day. Lotus are also
offering a 3-year/55,000km limited vehicle warranty with an 8-year
chassis perforation warranty.
The Lotus Evora is available with in a whole host
of different packages, with a long list of added options.
