Established in 1987, tuning company AC Schnitzer are famous for tuning
BMW and MINI cars.
The latest project from the German company is a
performance and styling package for the BMW X6 M.
On
the performance side of things the company offer a sports exhaust and
Vmax delimiter, which means no more 250km/h speed restriction.
Styling
upgrades include an AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer with two chromed
"Sports Trim" tailpipe in a right/left combination, carbon fibre AC
Schnitzer engine styling.
Also included are a new front spoiler, rear roof
spoiler, rear wing, rear diffuser and chromed front grille.
As an option, customers can add carbon Bonnet
Vents with a chromed centre web to complete the sporty look.
A
standout feature of the styling package is the optional AC
Schnitzer Bonnet Top made from carbon fibre with a plexiglass window
which makes the engine permanently visible.
AC Schnitzer has adapted the FALCON wheel arch
extensions so that the BMW body gains an extra 40 mm width each side.
The wheelarches of the X6 M by AC Schnitzer can be
filled with 20", 22" or massive 23" AC Schnitzer wheels with a variety
of colours, finishes and tyres to choose from.
The
interior gets an instrument panel conversion - speedo and rev counter
with AC Schnitzer logo with a top speed reading 360km/h, white dials,
red pointers and red lighting.
Carbon fibre interior trim, AC
Schnitzer steering wheel, AC Schnitzer aluminium cover for the i-Drive
system controller, aluminium pedal set, and velour foot mats, round out
the interior package.
There has been no word on pricing or final
performance figures.
