Elite LMV/R Aston Martin Vantage 2010: First Look

Florida, United States – Tuner Company Elite have recently release concept images of it's 2010 Aston Martin LMV/R (Le Mans Vantage Racer). Distributed through Exotica Motorsports via selected Aston Martin dealerships in the US.  Only 30 street legal race cars will be produced world-wide, making the Aston Martin LMV/R very exclusive.

Along the lines of the Ferrari Scuderia, Stradale and Lamborghini Superleggera, the Elite LMV/R is lighter than the factory Vantage due to most of the body work being made from carbon fibre. The Scuderia, Stradale and Superleggera were built with the race car purists in mind, who want a more nimble version of the production street car that they were built from.

Taking into account that these cars are built for the track, they aren't for everybody due to their stiffer suspension (which makes for a  harsher ride) and loud exhaust systems.

The Superleggera's US production was capped at 172 cars, the Ferrari Stradale has seen 1,288 units built and the Scuderia production was about 1,500 cars. Compared to production numbers of the 30 LMV/R's, you can see just how exclusive the LMV/R truly is.

In order to take a Vantage and turn it into an LMV/R race car, many components have been changed. 

Here are the details of the LMV/R package:

Carbon fiber body kit consisting of: front bumper with screens, visible carbon canards, visible carbon front splitter, hood, fenders (2" wider), side skirts, side skirt panels, rear quarter panel extensions (2" wider), trunk lid with visible carbon rear wing and rear bumper with visible carbon diffuser.

Matte black 20" wheels and tires for wide body kit

Lowering springs

Big Brake kit

Sport muffler with tips

Carbon fiber engine bay kit

Full Alcantara interior

Carbon fiber interior kit

Serial numbered plaque (only 30 cars will be produced)

LMV/R matte black stripes

Installation and full repaint

All LMV/R's will be assembled in Florida, the customer will order a brand new Vantage in any color offered by Aston Martin with any options. The Vantage is then picked up and sent to Florida where the transformation will happen, turning the factory Vantage into the track ready LMV/R.

The exterior can be painted in a factory finish or a custom colour at an additional charge. Also included in the package is an Alcantara interior (which can be in any colour) along with carbon fiber paneling in the cabin and 20-inch wheels to fit the wide body kit.

The package price is estimated at $173,000 plus the cost of the Aston Martin Vantage.
