And here is the core of the fettled Ferrari super
car - the twin supercharged, mid-mounted V8

Novitech Ferrari F430 Scuderia
As one of the only twin supercharged sports cars in
existence, the Novitech Ferrari is a sight for sore eyes

Stetten, Germany — When Novitech released the Ferrari F430 Bi-Compressor Evoluzione in 2007, it may not have made waves across the motoring world, but it was a favourite here at the Motoring Channel.

The Novitech tuning group took F430 and achieved the unthinkable by augmenting the high revving 4.3-litre V8 engine with not one, but two superchargers.

Resulting in more power and hugely potent mid-range boost, the car was one-of-a-kind.

But now there's another, even more powerful version - the Novitech Ferrari F430 Scuderia.

Using the more powerful track-developed Scuderia super car as the base instead of the Ferrari F430, the new twin supercharged Italian exotic is to die for.

The low-slung Ferrari F430 Scuderia sports car normally outputs 380kW (510hp) @ 8500rpm, which is a huge amount of power to start with and results in a zero to 100km/h sprint time of 3.8 seconds.

But the Ferrari F430 Scuderia tuned by the Novitech Rosso team screams from zero to 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds thanks to its twin 'charged engine.

Peak power rises from 380kW to 535kW (717hp), a staggering 155 kilowatt increase.

The Novitech Ferrari's top speed rises from 320km/h to 348km/h thanks to the increase in power, which comes about via the following engine upgrades:

Twin belt-driven superchargers
Redesigned intake manifold
Larger fuel injectors (x8)
High efficiency air filters (x2)
Upgraded cooling system

The twin superchargers develop 0.48 bar (7.0 psi) of pressure, enough to make this one of the fastest Italian cars on the road.

Novitech's original Ferrari F430 Bi-Compressor Evoluzione sported various body work and aerodynamic aids to improve the vehicle's high speed stability, but with this new model the German tuner hasn't had to change anything as the F430 Scuderia already possesses a number of serious aero aids.

There have been some changes to the interior of the car, with a range of carbon fibre trims and finishes, but overall it's the twin supercharged Ferrari engine that makes this vehicle such a unique sports car.
