 Husqvarna CR 50 Mini Cross
|
Australia -
Husqvarna has announced the release of the long awaited CR 50 Mini
Cross motorcycle which is set to go on sale locally in late August or
early September.
Husqvarna plans to produce this
competition specification machine to meet the demands of Australia's
junior racing fraternity and hopes that it will attract significant
numbers of potential customers, as there is a limited amount of small
manufacturers that offer products in this market segment.
The all new CR 50 represents the
pinnacle of Husqvarna's proven off road product development with the
use of quality materials and components that in turn offer a standard
equipment level that is sure to become the benchmark for the category.
The CR 50 features a chrome
molybdenum frame; detachable alloy subframe; 140mm rear disc brake; 160
mm "daisy" race design front disc brake with dual piston caliper; 32mm
Marzocchi fork; adjustable Sachs shock; and 22mm handlebars with
standard bar pad. The wheel sizes are 12 (front) 10-inch (rear) on
black anodised rims.
In addition the CR 50 has a dual
clutch transmission which enables the CR 50 to be tailored to the
individual requirements of both entry level and experienced riders
alike.
There has been no word on pricing
yet, but we expect it to be around the $5000 mark.
