Seoul, Korea Hyundai’s new Accent hatch and sedan light-car is now starting to arrive in Australian showrooms.

The Accent follows Hyundai's 'New Thinking. New Possibilities.' mantra, delivering advanced safety technology, an efficient powertrain and contemporary styling to the competitive light-car segment.

Designed at Hyundai's Namyang R&D Centre in Korea, the new Accent range joins the Hyundai line-up demonstrating the company's signature "Fluidic Sculpture" design.

The exterior lines display a futuristic and sleek stance. While the front of the Accent features Hyundai's signature hexagonal front grille. The swept-back headlights incorporating a two-piece black bezel design and bonnet character lines provide for a distinctive look.

The Accent offers plenty of space and comfort for driver and passengers. The symmetrically designed Y-shaped dash and the metallic and piano-black effect finishes within the cockpit, deliver a premium high quality finish to the interior.

The Hyundai Accent will be available with a 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine featuring continuous variable valve timing (CVVT), with the choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions. Three trim levels will be available across the range - Active, Elite and Premium.
