Aggressive
yet sleek styling

Rolle, Switzerland
- Combining sports car proportions with a muscular SUV stance,
the
FX is a performance luxury crossover vehicle by car makers Infiniti.
The FX Limited Edition models are based on the Infiniti FX37S and FX50S.
When
Infiniti say 'limited' they really mean limited, the car manufacturer
will be releasing just 100 units across Western Europe, with only 18
units going to the United Kingdom. Each vehicle will be individually
numbered.
The FX Limited Edition will be available in either
Black Obsidian (with ‘Scratch Guard' paintwork as standard) and in
Moonlight White pearl metallic (pictured right) which will be available
as an option. One off ‘Turbine' design 21 inch alloy wheels are
finished in dark Graphite and fitted with 265/45 R21W tyres. The
‘double-wave' radiator grille, side air vents and roof rails are also
finished in a dark Graphite.
Interior wise, the FX Limited
Edition will feature many unique enhancements. Illuminated ‘Infiniti'
entry guards, Graphite leather upholstered seats, upper door panels and
dashboard with contrasting stitching, and an Alcantara roof lining.
Carbon fibre is used to finish off the interior with touches on the
dashboard, centre console and door panels, replacing the standard
‘cello flame maple wood veneer.
Rounding out the FX Limited
Edition's standard specifications, Infiniti's state-of-the-art
Connectiviti+ technology package provides a fully integrated
navigation, communication and entertainment system including an
11-speaker Bose Premium Sound System, the Michelin Guide, full iPod
connectivity and a 10GB music box with Gracenotes database.
Additional
standard equipment includes electrically adjustable, heated and
ventilated front seats, an electric sunroof, Infiniti's keyless entry
and start system, and magnesium paddle shifts that work in conjunction
with the seven-speed automatic gearbox.
Like the standard FX, the
Limited Edition can be ordered with a 235kW 3.7-litre V6 or a
287kW 5.0-litre V8. The V8 allows the FX50S LE to accelerate from
0-100km/h in 5.8 seconds, while the FX37S LE takes 6.8 seconds.
The
FX Limited Edition is available for reservation now via an Infiniti
Centre. Pricing starts at £55,855 for the FX37S and £62,035 for the
FX50S.
