Joss Developments Limited has announced it's plans to officially debut
their new supercar in August, which, I'm sure, will make potential buyers
and investors very happy. Joss Developments Limited have already
secured ten solid orders thus far and plan to reorganise into an
unlisted private company to fully cater for growing interest from
investors. Although sources are scarce we know that the new
supercar will come with a V8 engine that will produce around 373kW (500hp), enabling the lighweight machine to accelerate from
0-100 km/h in just 2.98 seconds before hitting a top speed in excess of
340 km/h (211 mph). The Joss Supercar has been five years in the
making and now with its forth coming release the Joss supercar will
give Australia its first real competitor to the likes of the Ferrari
and Lamborghini. According to Joss' creator, Matt Thomas, "This
is now not just about producing an Australian first and world-class
supercar, but ensuring the business is resourced adequately to meet
pent-up production demand." He went on to say, "We have been
refining the mechanics of the business model and the car and are now
satisfied that we have the right product and systems in place to move
forward." The Joss supercar is estimated to cost $600,000 AUD
($483,632 USD). There are with plans to build 25 cars in the first year of
production. Eventually the company hopes to take the car racing, with the eventual goal being a place on the grid at Le Mans. Related Links:
