Norfolk, United Kingdom - Lotus has announced details of it's Evora S and Evora IPS (Intelligent
Precision Shift) option, ahead of its official unveiling at the Paris
Motor Show in September.
Lotus has taken the Evora and beefed it up with a 257kW 3.5-litre V6
engine to create the Evora S.
The Evora S comes with a sport pack as standard featuring a 'sport'
button, which allows the driver to control, throttle response and
activate the exhaust by-pass valve. The sport button also raises the
rev limit and changes the dynamic stability control settings.
The car also features cross-drilled brakes for improved cooling and a
completely new active exhaust which at the push of a button can change
the exhaust tone for street or track driving.

In addition to the Evora S, Lotus will also showcase their IPS
(Intelligent Precision Shift) option. This sees an automatic six-speed
gearbox mated to a 206kW 3.5-litre V6 engine.
The IPS version of the Evora allows the driver to switch between manual
paddle shift and automatic drive modes. The driver also has the option
of selecting 'sport' mode, which provides faster up and down shifts.
