Motorsports is best known for its aerodynamic parts for the Viper
range, until just recently. The Michigan based company has unveiled its
latest project at Detroit Auto Show, dubbed the Falcon.
Mach7 Motorsports says it plans to
produce around 15 units per year, the Falcon has an aluminum
hydro-formed chassis with a carbon fibre monocoque.
Sitting under the bonnet is a
Corvette LS3 V8 engine producing 373kW, available as
standard. Although, Mach7 Motorsports also offers a GM LS9
engine that produces 477kW of power.
There were no official performance
specs made available, as the Falcon displayed in Detroit was an
unfinalized prototype.
Pricing for the Falcon is expected
to be around $200,000 according to a company representative with first
deliveries beginning before the end of 2011.
