styling give the C-Class coupe an aggressive stance

Melbourne,
Australia - The
new C-Class Coupé sees Mercedes-Benz enter a new market segment and for
the first time offering a compact coupé with classic proportions. From
the side, the new coupé displays a flat silhouette with powerful
shoulders.
Typical coupé features include the
short front overhang, long bonnet, steeply raked windscreen and long,
stretched-out roof. The greenhouse extends far beyond the rear axle
over the low-raked rear window to a sportily short tail end. At the
front, the new coupé shares the same styling as the latest
C-Class.
There is a choice of three petrol
and one diesel engine variants to power the C-Class Coupé, with a
7GTRONIC PLUS seven-speed automatic transmission as standard across the
range.
The C-Class Coupé will be
available through Australian Mercedes-Benz dealers from August 2011.
