1' C63 AMG coupé available upon launch

Germany- Mercedes-Benz
has released details of its new C63 AMG coupé, a high-performance car
that boasts both power and dynamic handling.
Powering the new AMG coupe is a
6.3-litre V8 engine that delivers 336kW of power and 600Nm of
torque allowing the coupe to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.5
seconds before topping out at 250 m/h (electronically limited).
There is also the optional AMG
Performance Package that increases output to 358 kW and 600Nm of
torque. The additional power enables the coupe to sprint from 0-100
km/h in 4.4 seconds.
The new coupé also gets a number
of technology updates that have been adopted on the C63 AMG saloon and
estate models. Starting with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports
transmission with "Controlled Efficiency" mode as standard and a new
power steering pump that reduces fuel consumption.
There will also be an
exclusive 'Edition
1' C63 AMG coupé available upon launch. The Edition 1 features a
premium quality interior that has AMG sports seats, door centre panels
and armrests that come in black designo leather with contrasting
porcelain seams on the sports seats. To complement this look the trim
parts have a porcelain piano-lacquer look and the two-tone AMG
performance steering wheel.
The CLS 63 AMG "Edition 1" also
gains AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in matt black. As an
option, the standard metallic paintwork can be swapped for a matt
finish in designo magno night black or diamond white metallic BRIGHT.
