2010 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X: Model Update

Tokyo, Japan - Mitsubishi has released limited details of its 2010 model year version of the Lancer EVO X for the Japanese market. 

Changes to the new model year are only minor, which include some larger, more aggressive side skirts and the use of new plastics for the front end of the vehicle (reducing weight by 1.5kg), a new color LCD screen is situated between the speedometer and rev-counter which has more functions, improved insulation (for better cabin ambience) and some minor touches have been made to the interior trim.

The 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X is also dropping the five-speed manual gearbox option from the top-of-the-line GSR Premium Edition and instead will be only available with the six-speed twin-clutch SST transmission. Potential customers can look forward to seeing the new model in the flesh sometime  next year. Availability is still not yet been confirmed.
