- Mitsubishi has announced the release of a special edition Outlander RX for Australia. The new Outlander RX
will feature a newly designed interior and a modified exterior.
The new model is based on the 2010 model year LS
variant. The exterior
of the Outlander RX features a new front bumper with intergrated fog
lights, 18 inch seven-spoke alloy wheels, along with sharper side
skirts and new rear air dams. Rounding out the exterior are silver
painted exterior door handles, a chrome exhaust tip and tinted windows.
Stepping inside the new Outlander RX reveals the
new leather and sports
mesh seat trim, silver painted floor console panels and chrome interior
door handles. Completing the package is the Bluetooth 2.0
functionality and smart key (keyless operation system).
The Outlander RX is limited to just 500 units and
is available with the
choice of three colours – Black Mica and Cool Silver, and White Pearl
(exclusive to the RX).
Powering the limited edition Outlander RX is a
2.4-litre MIVEC engine,
which comes with a CVT automatic transmission as well as Mitsubishi’s
All Wheel Control 4wd System - while safety equipment includes dual SRS
airbags, ABS Brakes with Electronic Brake Distrubution, Active
Stability Control, Active Traction Control and Hill Start Control.
The Outlander RX is available now for $38,475 AUD
(before dealer and
statutory charges) and is covered by Mitsubishi’s industry-leading 5
year / 130,000km, 10 year/160,000km non-transferrable drive-train
warranty and 5 year/130,000 roadside assist as standard.
