Beijing, China - Lamborghini has released the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce China Limited Edition to coincide  with the 2010 Beijing Auto Show.

This highly exclusive edition of the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce is limited to just ten vehicles and will only be on sale in China. It seems the rest of the world has been snubbed by the Italian super sports car manufacturer.

Automobili Lamborghini recorded an 11 per cent growth in China last year which sparked the release of the China Limited Edition Murciélago.

The special edition Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce is designed and manufactured exclusively for China's most eager super sports car enthusiasts.

An orange stripe, symbolising the strength of an erupting volcano, adorns the flat grey painted carbon shell of the Murciélago. While inside, the cabin is fitted with alcantara upholstery, carbon fibre trim, orange accents, and an individually numbered badge.

The Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce is even more powerful, lighter and faster than the Murciélago LP 640. With the output of the 6.5-litre V12 increased to 500kW and a weight reduction of 100 kg. This allows the car to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 342 km/h.

In order to achieve the substantial weight reduction of 100 kilograms, the Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce was extensively reworked and redeveloped - from chassis to engine and transmission, and even the interior. The increase in engine output from 470kW to 492kW is the result of optimised valve timing and a redesigned intake system. The modified aerodynamics increased downforce which brings considerable improvement to vehicles stability at high speeds.
