Europe - Oakley
Design are best known for their finely tuned Ferrari 458, Porsche GT2,
GT3 and Panamera conversions. But, now the company has thrown its hat
into the ring once again with its tuning package for the Lamborghini
LP700-4 Aventador.
Dubbed the Lamborghini Aventador
LP760-2, the car recieves a number of modifications, first up, a set of
ultra-light, forged alloy wheels are fitted weighing around 4kgs per
corner lighter than the factory alloys.
Oakley Design also offer up a raft
of carbon-fibre parts, a sports exhaust and re-mapped ECU, and for
customers that are interested the company also offer a rear-wheel-drive
only option for further weight saving and increased performance.
With the removal of the front
differential, drive shafts and associated front drivetrain parts the
Lamborghini Aventador LP760-2 sheds around 85kgs.
Lamborghini's claimed outputs of
515kW and 690Nm of torque, is increased by around 10 per cent with an
ECU remap, larger airbox, intake feed pipe diameter and a titanium
exhaust system that will also save over 30kg. These modifications boost
power and torque figures to 567kW and 745Nm respectivly.
In terms of aerodynamics Oakley
Design gives customers the choice of two carbon fibre front bumper and
rear bumper trims that aid in cooling and downforce.
Carbon-fibre door mirrors and
engine bay covers are direct replacement parts. Along with the black
carbon roof, give the Aventador a distinct Oakley Design look.
Production of the Oakley Design
LP760-2 will be limited to just five cars, each bearing a unique
numbered plaque. Three of these are already sold. Outside of this
Limited Edition model, individual parts will be available for clients
who do not require the complete package.
