Stuttgart,
Germany -
Photos of the limited edition Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 have been leaked
by Porsche. According to a non-official info-sheet, the RS 4.0 will
feature a 4.0-litre flat-six engine producing 368kW of power and 460Nm
of torque.
The new photos show the that the
911 GT3 RS 4.0 is getting a race-inspired GT3 rear wing and painted
front-and-rear carbon fibre bumpers. On the inside there's the expected
hole where the navigation system would normally go, Alcantara covered
shifter and steering wheel, racing seats with RS 4.0 stitching,
rear-seat rollcage, and weight-saving door release handles.
Although the limited edition model
is still yet to be officially confirmed, Porsche is expected to build
500 units in total, with prices to be around €178,000
($240,000AUD).
