Kamp-Lintfort, Germany
- German based turners Prior Design has
released photos of its newest Porsche-based creation for the owners of
the much-loved 996 model.
Prior Design said “Its aim was to
retain the 996 form, but to rejuvenate that form using modern 997 style
elements.”
The company have a achieved this
look by adding a new front bumper that features large air intake vents
and spoiler lip. Meanwhile, the 911 rear end receives a completely new
PD3 bumper, which houses an integrated sports exhaust system exclusive
to Prior Design.
Thanks to a curved set of side
skirts, the car appears to sit lower to the ground from the side.
The chassis has also been lowered
by 30mm, which not only lowers the centre of gravity, but also improves
overall handling.
In addition, the car is fitted
with a set of segmented forge wheels by Prior Design, that can be
manufactured in any size, according to customer requirements.
