Renault Koleos 2010: First Look

Australia - Renault Australia has released details of the 2010 Renault Koleos. The range features a list of new standard features and a slight price adjustment to three of the five Koleos variants.

Now standard across the 2010 model range is an integrated TomTom satellite navigation system, with Bluetooth and multimedia connectivity. Four new body colours and a rear spoiler also features across the range.

The Dynamique variants feature a premium ARKAMYS radio system.

The Privilege variant comes with a BOSE radio system, new alloy wheels, charcoal finished leather upholstery, sun roof and carbon fibre look centre console.

The entire Koleos range is fitted with front, lateral and side curtain airbags, and a full range of accident avoidance equipment including Electronic Stability Program, Antilock Braking, Emergency Brake Assist and Traction Control, just to name a few.

Both models of Koleos, Dynamique and Privilege already featured standard equipment such as dual zone climate control, MP3 compatible CD/stereo radio, electrically heated and folding door mirrors, rear sun blinds, child minder mirror, roof rails and automatic lights and wipers, with the Privilege also including the Renault hands free card and front and rear parking sensors. Features in the 4x4 versions also already include Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist.

Koleos continues with its powertrain combinations of 2.5-litre petrol engine teamed with 6 speed manual or the advanced CVT auto transmission, or 2.0-litre diesel engine, with 6 speed manual or 6 speed auto transmissions.

The 2.5-litre petrol engine develops 126kW of power at 6,000rpm, and 226Nm of torque at 4400rpm, while the diesel produces 127kW power at 3750 rpm (manual transmission), 110kW at 4000 rpm (auto transmission) and 360Nm torque at 2000 rpm.

Pricing for the 2010 Koleos range is as follows:

4 x 2 Dynamique PET AT - $33,490 (-$500)
4 x 4 Dynamique PET AT - $36,990 (-$1,000)
4 x 4 Dynamique Diesel AT - $39,990 (no change)
4 x 4 Privelege PET AT  - $43,990 (+$1000)

The 2010 Koleos is available for order from the 1st of May.
