based tuners have released details of its new tuning package for the
Porsche 997 turbo.
In standard form the 997 turbo
produces 368KW of power and 650NM of torque while the
RM580 Porsche 997 Turbo featuring a stage 2
performance upgrade increases power to 426KW power and 800NM of torque.
The modifications enable the RM580
to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of
325 km/h. According to RENM performance, the modifications include a
re-tuned ECU, performance exhaust system, full carbon fibre pressure
pipe, air intake and sports air filters.
The RM580 exhaust system is made
from T309 stainless steel and uses sports catalytic converters with
sound and performance valve control. The tuning programme comes with
the choice of various suspension kits, ranging from a spring kit that lowers the chassis by 20 millimetres to
full hydraulic race lift systems. This includes special PASM compatible
suspension that can be individually adjusted to suit various conditions. In terms of aerodynamic and ride improvements, the RM580 has a reshaped front spoiler inlet and a larger tail section.
RENM performance's RM580 features
a set of 20-inch unique three piece forged wheels with titanium fasteners. The
kit also comes with the choice of carbon fibre interior inserts and
revised steering wheel.
