SL65 Black Series by RENNtech: First Look

Florida, United States - Tuner company RENNtech has teamed up with Domani Motors for their latest project the SL65 AMG Black Series.

Since the release of RENNtechs Performance Package 1 for the Black Series, it has created quite quite the hype within the international tuning scene.

So, it was no surprise when Domani Motors, one of the largest exotic, sports, and luxury automobile dealers in the U.S., rang RENNtech and asked for them to mod their pearl white SL65 AMG Black Series.

The now RENNtech enhanced SL pumps out a mind blowing 600kW of power and 1354Nm of torque at the crank.

Renntech has taken the standard bi-turbo 6.0-litre V12 and added a remapped ECU/TCU, Dual Intercooler Pump Upgrade, and a Renntech Sport Exhaust.

The company has also added a Transmission Upgrade and 100% Locking Rear Differential from RENNtech. The RENNtech differential is based on OS Giken's line of Super-Lock LSD which functions as a traditional open differential in low and normal-load situations, transforming smoothly and gradually up to 100% full lock as loads rise. The Super-Lock LSDs clutch packs make the unit incredibly quiet and smooth, without the kind of chatter usually associated with limited-slip cars.

The Performance Package 1 by RENNtech is priced from $18,706 AUD plus the cost of the SL65 AMG Black Series.
