Shizuoka, Japan - Suzuki has launched its all-new GSX1250FA in Australia, the fully faired all-rounder adds a versatile sports bike option to Suzuki's street bike range.

The GSX1250FA features a 1,255cc, fuel-injected, DOHC, 4-cylinder engine and a six-speed transmission. This combination promises to deliver smooth acceleration and a wide spread of power for relaxed highway cruising.

Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Materials (SCEM) are used to coat the aluminium-alloy cylinder bores which is said to reduce friction and improve heat transfer and durability.

Meanwhile, each 36mm throttle body contains dual throttle valves for improved combustion efficiency, increased low RPM torque and more linear throttle response.

Automatic Idle Speed Control (ISC) improves cold starts, reduces emissions and stabilises engine idle under varying conditions.

ABS equipped dual, fully floating 4-piston calliper 310mm front disc brakes and single piston calliper 240mm rear disc brake supply the GSX1250FA with ample stopping power.

A new instrument cluster has been designed for better functionality. In addition to an analogue tachometer and LCD speedometer, instrumentation includes a gear-position indicator and shift light.

GSX1250FA's rider-friendly chassis is built around a classic tube-frame, featuring a large-diameter downtube, 25.2 degree rake and 104mm trail for an excellent balance of sporty handling and rider comfort at highway cruising speeds.

The Suzuki GSX1250FA was designed with highway adventurers in mind, with long distance comfort being a high priority.

Featuring an adjustable seat height that can go either up or down 20mm (805mm / 825mm) and a convenient centre stand comes standard.

Providing a smooth and comfortable ride with predictable handling characteristics, 43mm-stanchion-tube front forks and a single rear shock are both spring-preload-adjustable.

A range of functional accessories are also available including a hard top case and panniers.

Priced at $13,990* the Suzuki GSX1250FA is available in Blue or Grey colour schemes and is backed by Suzuki's two-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.

* Not including government and delivery charges.
