Germany -
German turners Vorsteiner has released details of its latest styling
package for the BMW X6 M.
The package includes a new front apron add-on
spoiler that is made of carbon fibre composite (CFRP) that increases
downforce to the front axle at high speeds while directing more
air into the front radiators and air duct openings.
A new power dome sculpted vented carbon composite
hood is also available which helps to extract heat from the engine bay.
Stepping around to the rear end you will notice
the new carbon fibre diffuser that replaces the factory plastic unit.
The rear diffuser houses 3 modular aero fins that are attached to the
main body of the diffuser in addition to 2 vented slits to help cool
the exhaust system.
Rounding out the aerodynamic package is a carbon
add-on rear deck lid spoiler that fit flawlessly around the lines of
the factory boot lid while adding additional down force to rear of the
vehicle.
In addition Vorsteiner also offer a set of
lightweight forged 1-piece monoblock aluminum wheels that are wrapped
in high performance Michelin PS2 sport tyres.
Vorsteiner leave the twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8
engine unmodified, standard power figures are 408kW and 678Nm of
torque. The BMW X6 M can accelerate from 0-100km in 4.7 seconds, before
topping out at 250km/h (limited).
