Germany - German company Sport-Wheels from Hürth
has recently released details of its new aesthetic and performance
package for the new Volkswagen Golf VI R.
The German tuners have increased
power and performance dramatically. After the increase in efficiency
the 2.0-litre TSI engine equipped with the DSG transmission pumps out
243kW and 450 Nm instead of the standard 199kW and 350Nm.
These figures are achievable by
fitting a remapped ECU (€799), a hand-made exhaust system (starting
from €1,950) equipped with Downpipe starting from turbo inclusive 200
cells Kats with final pipes in 83 mm in diameter, which are covered
over with carbon.
Handling has also been improved by
adding a set of fully-adjustable springs for lower setting and
high-grade steel thread chassis (variant 3 Inox LINE starting from €1,549)
by KW.
The package also includes a set of
20-inch OZ-rims Ultraleggera HLT rims with high speed tires of size
235/30 20 is those wheel/tire combination – the new OZ-rims have a
weight saving of 12kgs over the stock 19 inchers.
There is also a complete wheel set
with Sport-Wheels depending upon tire mark in flat black or silver
starting from €2849 as shown with special lacquer finish in red and
front surface in car color starting from €4039.
The package is completed by
Sport-Wheels special reflex foil from partner company CoverEFX from
Erftstadt, which can be bought for €350.
The complete Sport-Wheels package cost €11,536.
