Mt Buffalo

Mt Buffalo is a sheltered bowl that is modestly aimed at the beginner and family market, specifically advertising that if 2km black diamond runs and a maze of lifts are what you're after, then their not for you.

Mt Buffalo consists of two separate ski areas, Cresta Bowl which is their main area and Dingo Dell which only opens as an overflow area during peak season.
Cresta Bowl offers 3 pomas and two chairs while Dingo Dell consists of two parallel pomas.

With snowmaking covering all the beginners area first timers should always have something to ski on, while the Cresta Poma and double chair both offer good intermediate skiing and even a couple of tougher runs off the top of Cresta Poma down through the rocks.

Offering a genuine family feel, a great starting point for beginners and first class accommodation at the Chalet, Mt Buffalo has a lot going for it and is definitely a welcome alternative to larger resorts.
Mt Buffalo is located north east of Melbourne and will take you over 4 hours drive to get there.
