Statue of Simpson and his Donkey

The Australian War Memorial commemorates the sacrifices made during wartime
through its exhibitions, research and hallowed areas such as the
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Roll of Honour.

The memorial is at the head of ANZAC Parade in Canberra and overlooks the Parliament Houses. It is open between 10am and 5pm (from 9am in NSW and ACT holidays) every day
except Christmas Day. Entry is free, although donations are welcome.
