Weather Situation
A surface trough lying over western Queensland is moving rapidly east,
contracting off the southern coast early Wednesday. Warm conditions are
expected over northern, central and southeastern parts on Wednesday as a cooler
southerly wind flow extends through the west. A high will develop over
southwestern Australia on Wednesday, extending a firm ridge into Queensland in
the wake of the trough.
