Weather Situation
A surface trough extends from the Gulf Country towards the southern interior of
Queensland. Another trough in the deep tropics remains slow-moving to the north
of Cape York Peninsula. A high pressure system over southeastern Australia is
moving slowly eastwards, and extends a ridge over southeast Queensland and
along the tropical east coast. A relatively dry airmass is in place across most
of Queensland.
