Weather Situation
A high over the central Tasman Sea extends a firm ridge along the east coast of
Queensland. The ridge will relax mid week as the high moves to the east of New
Zealand and weakens. A surface trough extends through central Australia and is
expected to shift east into southwestern Queensland on Tuesday. The trough is
then expected to remain slow moving over the southern interior of the state
until late in the week.
