Weather Situation
A surface trough stretches from northwest Queensland towards the southeast, and
will slowly shift westwards while weakening. A weak high pressure system in the
Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the Queensland east coast. A stronger surface
and upper trough system will shift eastwards through inland Queensland over the
weekend.
