Weather Situation
A high near the New South Wales coast will weaken as it drifts towards New
Zealand today. A new high pressure system will move eastwards into the Great
Australian Bight late in the week, pushing a cold front slowly across
Queensland's far southern districts during the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 27 May
Partly cloudy. Medium (40%) chance of showers in the north, most likely in the
late morning and afternoon. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. Winds
southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h turning easterly 20 to 30 km/h in the middle of the
day then becoming light in the late evening. Daytime maximum temperatures 24 to
29.
