Weather Situation
A weakening ridge extends along the east Queensland coast. A broad area of low
pressure will develop through the interior of the state during the next couple
of days and should extend into southeastern Queensland during the weekend. Hot
to very hot conditions will also extend from the southern interior of the state
to remaining southern, western and central parts from Friday.
