Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system over southeastern Australia will move slowly east
for the next few days, maintaining a firm ridge of high pressure over
Queensland. The high will weaken during the next few days, and a new ridge of
high pressure will push into western Queensland late next week.

Partly cloudy. Winds easterly 15 to 20 km/h.

Forecast for Tuesday 26 May
Partly cloudy. Medium (40%) chance of showers in the north, slight (20%) chance
elsewhere. Winds southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h turning easterly 15 to 25 km/h in
the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 13 and 18 with daytime
temperatures reaching the mid to high 20s.
