Weather Situation
A surface trough extends from the Gulf Country to the southeast interior, and
an upper level trough is moving off the southern coast. A high over the Great
Australian Bight will shift eastwards and into the Tasman Sea over the weekend,
strengthening the ridge along the east coast and shifting the inland trough a
little to the west. A new stronger upper trough will move into southwestern
Queensland early next week.
