Weather Situation
A surface trough over the interior of the state will weaken during today. A
high moving east over the Tasman Sea will maintain a firm ridge along the east
Queensland coast over the next few days. A strong upper level trough will shift
into eastern Queensland today, then off the central coast into Thursday. A new
upper trough will enter the west of the state on Friday and move eastwards
across the south of the state over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 1 April
Partly cloudy. Medium (60%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and
afternoon. The chance of thunderstorms during the morning and afternoon. Winds
south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h turning east to northeasterly in the
afternoon. Daytime maximum temperatures around 30.
