Weather Situation
A weakening ridge extends along the east Queensland coast. A broad area of low
pressure will develop through the interior of the state and extend into
southeastern Queensland during the weekend. Hot to very hot conditions will
also extend from the southern interior to remaining southern, western and
central parts during the weekend and should persist into early next week.
