Weather Situation
A weak ridge lies along the east coast of Queensland and will continue to
weaken through Thursday. An upper level trough is moving westwards through the
northern tropics and will move westwards through the Gulf of Carpentaria during
tomorrow. A surface trough over the interior of the state will move north and
eastwards during Thursday, contracting off the southern coast late Thursday
afternoon or evening. Hot conditions currently over western Queensland will
shift into central and southeast parts of the state during Thursday.
