Weather Situation
A weakening ridge extends along the east Queensland coast. A broad area of
instability will extend from the interior of the state into southeastern
Queensland during the weekend. A surface trough will then enter southwestern
Queensland on Monday and shift east, focusing the zone of instability over
areas near and to its east. Hot to very hot conditions will affect much of
western, central and southern Queensland during the forecast period.
